Georgian Bay Fire & Safety’s Operations Manager, Jeff Taylor, announced today that the company has just completed an asset-based acquisition of MPG Fire Services Ltd. of Waterloo, Ontario. Mr. Taylor commented that this acquisition is consistent with the companies’ aggressive growth strategy and that the quality of MPG’s people, customers and facility make this a very good acquisition for both parties. The MPG facility with its DOT certified Hydrostatic-testing capabilities will become the seventh location in Ontario for Georgian Bay Fire & Safety Ltd. The company was also pleased to announce that Paul Coull and Garry Wellhauser, two of the founders of MPG will remain with the company.
